SBF 815 Facts
Surge Control LLP has been actively developing a Surge Buster® specifically designed for fuel. After testing over 11 different resins and many different variations of these resins, we have developed a proprietary resin blend based on Nylon that after extensive laboratory and manufacturing tests is an excellent performer in all types of fuel.
In co-operation with Prime Land Fuels (a fuel delivery company), we have been field testing these systems over the past two years. We have been testing in four delivery trucks that range in size and configuration. The test trucks delivered gasoline, gasoline blends, diesel and off-road diesel. They operate on both Interstate and local roads, in varying weather conditions, temperatures ranging from over 100 degrees to minus 19 and from altitudes of 1200 feet to 9000 feet.
Often times, deliveries are on snow and ice or rough gravel roads. In all these conditions the new Surge Buster® ( SBF 815 ) has performed flawlessly suppressing the surge without interfering with the operation of any o the tank truck equipment. The drivers state that eliminating the effects of surge allows them to operate safely in conditions that were formerly very hazardous. They are able to complete their deliveries much quicker with the added benefit of reducing driver fatigue. In short this system is non-invasive, virtually eliminates the surge related roll-over and provides for a much safer operation of the tanker while reducing maintenance costs, providing a safer and less fatiguing environment for the driver.
